    $6.65
First ship date is March 22. Free shipping with $35 purchase! Please note: We now ship via UPS. 70 days. Open pollinated. French heirloom. Amazing flavor and aroma have made this heirloom melon popular for 100 years. Has an exotic, tropical aroma and dense, very sweet flesh. Considered the sweetest melon. Fruits stay at about 2 pounds, so they are perfect for 1 or 2 people. Does not slip, but the heavenly aroma will let you know when they are ripe. When I walk by my melon patch, I know when a Charantais is ripe! Then I just follow my nose. I have been known to crack one open and slurp up the contents right out there in the garden.
